Casa A+M

Surrounded by greenery, Casa A+M is a contemporary residence born from the encounter between clean lines, warm materials, and a fluid relationship with the outdoors. The project by B+B Associati unfolds as a compact, horizontal volume, punctuated by a composition of solids and voids that establishes a dialogue between the architecture and the surrounding nature.

The sinuous path leading to the entrance, the carefully selected vegetation, the multiplying transparency between interior and exterior: all contribute to creating a welcoming and sophisticated domestic atmosphere, where natural light reigns supreme in every room, well into the evening hours.

Inside, the rhythm of the exposed wooden beams and the material palette of the floors and furnishings convey a sense of warmth and continuity. The living area opens completely onto the garden thanks to a long glass wall that dissolves boundaries, making the landscape an integral part of everyday life.

To accentuate the direct connection with the outdoors, the designers chose aluminum sliding windows from the Xtravision collection. The minimalist profile allows light to flow freely and reduces the structure's visual impact, enhancing the continuity between inside and out.

Completing the system, large knee-hung shutters offer an effective and integrated solution for sun protection and privacy, while maintaining the clean lines of the architectural envelope.

The combination of transparency, simplicity, and technical performance makes the windows not only a functional element, but an active component of the architectural language of the entire project.
